The nation’s number one Prophet, Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu founder and leader of the New Jerusalem Chapel located at Sokoban Ampayoo in the Ashanti Region has once again proved himself that he still remains as the most powerful healer and prophet in the country, reports King Amoah from Kumasi.
After establishing his church some years back, the man of God has healed and baptized countless number of people notably, the spiritually oppressed across the country and at the international levels respectively to glorify God.
As if that was not enough, on Saturday March 12, 2023 the church was filled to capacity when 14 sick patients who were undertaken through spiritual healings were baptized into the name of the Trinity and set free to go home and sin no more.
The oppressed were allegedly carrying spiritual predicaments such as drug abuse cases, madness, bad dreams, impotency, stroke, mental health cases, barrenness, epilepsy, promise and fail, financial problems, chronic headache and stomach pains among others.
Before the baptism, the 14 healed separately came out with stunning testimonies about how they attracted their predicaments and how God has now set them free through Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu.
Hardly to believe their testimonies, they thanked God for saving their lives and hoped that God will always grant the Bishop wisdom and protect him to serve humanity.
The occasion had the theme: WHO IS YOUR CARETAKER AS A CHRISTIAN” quoted from the books of Matthew 9-35, John 10-11, John 14-12, 1st John 3 verse 8 to 9 and Acts 10-38 respectively.
Preaching a sermon from the book of Matthew Chapter 9 verses number 35 to mark the function, the Senior Prophet, Osofo Ata who preached on behalf of Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu noted that as believers there is the need know that Christ is our source of existence.
Stressing that if we keep faith in Him all our problems can be solved.
Prophet Ata bemoaned that it was against this background hence Jesus Christ resorted to go round cities and villages to spread the good news in their synagogues after which He healed people with all kinds of diseases when He was on earth.
The actions of Christ, the clergy noted, exposed the love which Christ have for His people.
He reminded christians to renew their faith in the Lord since with Him (Christ) all things are possible.
Congratulating Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu of whose annoiting power from God had saved them from Satanic bondage, he advised the now free citizens to carry the cross when they reached their various homes and bear in mind that Jesus Christ is their caretaker who has the key to uplift man from grass to grace.
