19 healed at the New Jerusalem Chapel at Sokoban-Ampayoo in Kumasi

A wave of jubilation and profound relief swept through the New Jerusalem Chapel at Sokoban- Ampayoo in Kumasi on Sunday December 27th when 18 individuals reportedly experienced a transformative healings from a spectrum of ailments.

The joyous occasion which unfolded on the fateful Sunday, December 27th, 2025 saw congregants gathered to witness a remarkable testimonies of recovery that accompanied by singing and praises to God.

The New Jerusalem Chapel camp has over the years become a sanctuary of hope for those who are suffering from alleged spiritual attacks, kidney issues, strokes, severe headaches, epilepsy, blindness, ulcers, and other afflictions.

These individuals having brought their burdens to the chapel emerged with stories of renewed health and well being.

To mark this significant moment of triumph over adversity and the conquering of Satan’s destructive attempts on innocent lives, the founder and leader of the church Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu led a baptism ceremony for the 18 healed individuals.

Immersed in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost, the baptism served as a potent symbol of their spiritual and physical renewal.

Earlier in the day Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu emphasized the boundless capabilities of God stating that God is a capable Being whom with Him all things are possible.

He attributed the day’s miraculous healings directly to the divine power of God under which he successfully facilitated these transformations.

Bishop Adu a renowned spiritual healer with an impressive 50 year track record in Ghana and beyond also offered his insights into the prevalent health challenges in Africa particularly in Ghana.

He linked many illnesses to the wrongful imitation of foreign diets (Western Culture)” and advocated for a return to the organic foods that sustained their forefathers for longer and healthier lives.

Looking ahead Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu extended a warm invitation to the general public to participate in the church’s 31st December Crossing Over to the New Year service.

He described the event as potentially miraculous and beneficial to any soul who would participate it.

Earlier in his brief sermon Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu who preached from the Book of Matthew 2:1 – 8 highlighted the significance of Christ’s birth and the gifts presented by the Three Wisemen as an expression of love.

He encouraged Ghanaians and the congregation alike to emulate this spirit of generosity and love especially during the Christmas season echoing the biblical principle that God blesses a cheerful giver
