The project, officially known as the Greater Accra Metropolitan and Kumasi Metropolitan Assemblies (GAMA/GKMA) project, was a collaborative effort between the Government of Ghana and the World Bank. It focused on providing bio-digester toilet facilities to households within the Greater Accra and Kumasi Metropolitan Assemblies, aiming to improve sanitation and public health.
