Bishop predicts Kennedy Agyepong’s victory in the Npp Presidential primaries.

Bishop Sam Owusu, known for his predictions regarding Ghanaian politics, has once again entered the fray with a prophecy concerning the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Owusu, who previously predicted a National Democratic Congress victory in the 2024 general elections, now claims Kennedy Agyapong will win the NPP’s presidential primary, currently slated for January 31, 2026, and ultimately lead the party into the 2028 elections.

In a video circulating online, Bishop Owusu reiterated his earlier prediction, urging his congregation to pray for Kennedy Agyapong. He stated, “Hear me church, hear me and pray for him so that mercies of God and the hand of God will continue to bring him to that place.” He claims to have foreseen Kennedy Agyapong leading the party, even mentioning it previously.

According to Bishop Owusu, Kennedy Agyapong’s victory would be historic, attracting a million young men to the party. He even gave a specific percentage: “57.7%” of the vote. Furthermore, the Bishop believes Kennedy Agyapong is destined to build upon the foundation laid by a future Mahama presidency, ushering in an industrial revolution. He also envisions Ghana becoming a prominent tourist destination under a Kennedy Agyapong-led government.

Kennedy Agyapong is one of five prominent figures vying for the NPP’s nomination. The other contenders include former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong, former Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and current Member of Parliament for Abetifi, and former Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Bryan Acheampong. NPP delegates are scheduled to vote in a secret ballot on January 31, 2026, to select their presidential candidate.
