Supremacy and disunity challenges are spelling doom for the Npp in the 2028 elections – Npp activist

By King Amoah

A somber prediction has emerged from within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ranks with Mr. Daniel Agyeman a polling station agent for the Manhyia North constituency branch indicating that internal supremacy challenges and lack of unity are steering the party towards another stint in opposition in December 7 2028.

Reacting to the alleged escalating internal conflicts surrounding the party’s presidential aspirants, Agyeman’s observations paint a grim picture of an organization at odds with itself.

Mr. Agyeman’s problem revolves around what he terms a supremacy complex pervading the party particularly among leading figures vying to lead the NPP towards the next elections.

He observed that the current infighting and the attitudes where everyone sees himself as big and untouchable are direct threats to the party’s electoral viability.

The activist did not hold back as he stated unequivocally that justice and discipline does not exis within the NPP which once described as a principled political entity.

He alleged that many big shots in the party tends to float the Npp’s constitution and go unpunished apparently to undermining the very foundations upon which it stands and prevent effective party organization.

Agyeman lamented the current political climate within the party where attitudes of lies and impunity have replaced the openness required for effective conflict resolution.

He stressed that instead of making efforts to maintain transparency and accountability for effective party organization, lies and discrimination have taken control of the party.

Suc situ he said has made party organisation and conflicts resolution to become difficult.

This, he believes, stems from the pervasive everyone seeing himself as big and untouchable mentality.

As a true member of the party Mr. Agyeman feels that a hard truth needs to be told before the party sinks to oblivion.

His message is clear and urgent as he pointed out that it is now time we should come together and build an attractive party.

If the administration of the party continues in this way I tell you that we should forget about winning power in 2028.

While Agyeman was quick to clarify that I am not a doom pastor to predict doom for the party, he asserted that what is going on signals a clear indication that NPP is on the path of doom if the top men refuse to smoke peace pipes.
