Executive Members of the Suame Npp Constituency Endorses Maxwell Ofosu Boakye To Become The Next Mp As Kyei Mensah Hints Of His Exit.

Credible information reaches our website from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region indicates that the Executive Members of the Suame Npp Constituency in addition to the Coordinators and all key officials within the Constituency have jointly endorsed Hon Maxwell Ofosu Boakye to contest in the upcoming primaries of the party to become the aspiring Mp and then contest in the 2024 elections reports King Amoah our political Chief correspondent in the Ashanti region.

The decision according to party insiders follows the anticipated exit of the incumbent Mp Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who have made his intentions clear that he would no more contest his position after many years of serving the Constituency as Mp.

But the substantive officials of the party anxious to replace a more vibrant, hardworking and obedient candidate of political experience like Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu to strengthen the Constituency, have jointly endorsed Hon Maxwell Boakye to take the lead.

Speaking to the reporter in an interview here in Kumasi the Nasara Coordinator for the Suame Npp Constituency, Alhaji lmoro Ipala (aka Kassnipaho) said the decision was not an attempt to impose Hon. Maxwell Boakye who is the Metropolitan Chief Executive for Suame Assembly.

Ipala said Hon Maxwell Ofosu Boakye was chosen out of merit, through his hardwork, respect discipline and readiness to serve the party at all times.

He said if such person is endorsed to succeed Hon Osei Kyei Mensah it would help the party to campaign effectively towards breaking the ‘8’ to enhance the developmental agenda of the Suame Constituency.

We also took the decision by taking into accounts how he has worked hard to transform the Suame metropolis with his few years that he assumed office as the Mce for the area, Ipala pointed out.

Our Mp Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu have been accordingly notified about our decision Kassnipaho told the Correspondent.
