The Deputy National Youth Commissioner of the NDC Proforum, Hon. Benjamin Afram has declared that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has delivered on its major promises that they made to Ghanaians during their 2024 electioneering campaign.
Hon Afram insists that the results on the ground gives a clear evidence that President John Dramani Mahama’s administration is on course ultimately towards the transformation of the economy.
With just eleven months that the party assumed office Ghanaians can witness that the performance of the Ndc outweighs the performance of the Npp’s eight years rule in office, Afram indicated.
Speaking on Gye Nyame FM’s Ade Akye Abie programme with Papa King, Hon. Afram slammed comments made by the NPP National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), accusing the NPP of refusing to accept political reality after its rejection by Ghanaians in the 2024 general elections.
The NPP is behaving like a party which does not exist in the country to see the transformation which is going on in the country under president John Dramani Mahama’s watch, Mr Afram hinted.
Stressing that Ghanaians rejected the Npp because the party attempted to use lies to come to power by forgotten that they had completely mismanaged the country.
Hon Afram indicated that the NDC administration has not wasted time in fixing the economic damaged and left behind by the NPP as he pointed out to the current economic reforms in the country.
The policy rate Mr Afram noted has dropped to 18 percent, inflation is now at a single digit whilst exchange rate has stabilized.
These are some clear facts, not propagandas or.slogans and this is what a competent leadership should portray, he emphasized.
Mr Afram further stated that the NDC has moved from promises to actions with the rollout of its 24-hour economy, which has already begun in some key government institutions such as the Ports, Drivers And Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and the Passport Offices across the country.
This government is working day and night for Ghanaians unlike the NPP, which plunged the country into hardship, delayed pensioners funds, unemployment among others, Hon. Afram added.
According to him the NPP now knows that returning to power may take decades as Ghanaians are no longer prepared to trust a party that failed them so badly.
The NDC is focused on governance and development and therefore urges the NPP to stop the noisemaking and allow this government to work in peace for Ghanaians.
