Amidst a community where more affluent residents are capable of contributing to road maintenance it remains conspicuously silent.

However one individual has stepped forward not only to address the issue but to do so with a clear vision for the constituency’s future.

Mr. Solomon Reuben Jabari a well known philanthropist and a hopeful for the NDC Constituency Chairmanship has single handedly embarking on a massive road maintenance drive to demonstrate his commitment that transcends mere political ambition.

The perennial issue of poor road networks has been a persistent challenge in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency hindering business growth and impacting the daily lives of its residents.

The narrative has often been one of public criticism directed at the government with little to no proactive engagement from those in a position to offer material support.

It is against this backdrop of unmet expectations and community silence that Mr. Jabari’s initiative gains particular significance.

Speaking to a section of the media, Mr. Solomon Reuben Jabari who also presides as the Chairman of Island City in Kumasi indicated his motivations over the issue.
.
He observed that with the myriad of responsibilities placed upon the government’s shoulders it is unrealistic to expect them to shoulder every state responsibility alone.

Individual interventions are crucial, he asserted and emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to development.

This philosophy has spurred Mr. Jabari to take a proactive stance.

Having declared his intentions to contest for the NDC Chairmanship in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, he has now dedicated his personal resources to tackling the dilapidated road infrastructure within the constituency.

Currently his efforts are visibly concentrated on the Brofoyedru to Adumasa road and the Nkoransa to Ampabame roads.

These are not mere cosmetic fixes; it is understood that the maintenance work aims for substantial and lasting improvements.

Mr. Jabari highlighted the detrimental impact the current road conditions have on the constituency.

He noted that drivers have been exploiting the damaged roads by charging exorbitant fares, while others have resorted to deceptive shortcut journeys to mislead passengers.

His intervention, he believes will not only alleviate these inconveniences but it would also foster a more transparent and fair system for commuters.

Mr. Jabari vehemently denied any notion that his current undertaking is a mere ploy to garner votes for the chairmanship race or to advance a political agenda.

Before I even made my political intentions known to join the party I was already doing more for the constituency than just road maintenance, he stated emphatically.

This assertion underscores a history of philanthropic commitment predating his political aspirations.

Looking ahead, Mr. Jabari envisions a transformative impact once the road maintenance works are completed.

He believes that revitalized road networks will unlock the constituency’s dormant social and economic potential, ultimately to benefit not only the residents of Atwima Kwanwoma but also contributing to the broader development of Ghana.

His actions serve as a powerful testament to the idea that proactive leadership and genuine commitment can pave the way for progress, even in the face of systemic challenges. The Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency may well find its path to prosperity being literally built by the hands of its hopeful chairman.
