Npp chairman praises Asantehene for his role in promoting peace and stability in the country.
The chairman of the Ashanti Regional Newspapers Vendors Association of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Bismark Ayensu has observed that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II deserves commendation for the role which he has been playing to promote peace, unity and stability in the country.
In an interview with the Correspondent, Ayensu hinted that aside Otumfuo’s efforts to ensure peaceful coexistence in the society, he is the only King who leads in the social intervention policies management.
According to him before Akuffo Addo has not introduced the free Senior High School policy, Otumfuo had already taken the lead.
As a renowned unifier and peace maker Bismark Ayensu could not hide his gratitude as he touched down on how Asantehene settled the chieftaincy conflicts that reared its ugly head in the Northern region to bring about peace in the country.
On the cases of corruption, Ayensu praised the occupant of the Golden Stool, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for using his influence to advise government on how to curb the menace.
Bismark Ayensu indicated that Otumfuo is a distinguish figure who have excellent track records in not only in the chieftaincy institution but also in the socio-political front across the country and beyond.
According to chairman Ayensu the country’s development is on course as a result of Otumfuo’s influence.
This he said, every sitting president use to consult him for counseling on how best their governments would progress.
On the international front, Ayensu said Otumfuo is a role model, who is well recognized for promoting peace, unity and stability in the society.
Touched with gratitude for the role that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been playing to shape the society, it is his prayer that Ghanaians would rally behind King Solomon as he is affectionately called to ensure that his good agenda for the good people of Ghana becomes reality.
