Addressing a massive and enthusiastic crowd of party supporters in the Central Region, Boadu boldly declared that come rain or shine, the NPP flagbearer Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia will emerge victorious at the polls to become the next President of the Republic of Ghana.

According to Mr. Boadu extensive political research and ground assessments indicate that once President John Dramani Mahama’s constitutionally mandated term comes to a close in 2028, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) faces a leadership vacuum.

He reiterated that he sees no candidate within the NDC ranks who posses the competence to effectively contest and compete with Dr. Bawumia.

Describing Dr. Bawumia as a “Policy Commander” and a matured former Vice President who holds the keys to unlock Ghana’s true destiny, John Boadu posed a rhetorical challenge to the Ndc: “After Mahama, who in the NDC can match Dr. Bawumia.

He assured the gathering that the NPP has already strategized measures to secure a decisive victory in the 2028 under Dr. Bawumia’s visionary leadership.

The event also featured strong indictments of the current political landscape from parliamentary leadership.

The Minority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament for Efutu, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin took the podium to urge Ghanaians to take critical note of the ongoing governance issues and alleged corruptions within the administration.

Afenyo Markin specifically cited allegations surrounding the Foreign Ministry where the sector’s Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has been cited in financial malpractlces regarding the evacuation funds for stranded Ghanaians in South Africa.

He emphasized that as a party deeply committed to accountability and economic growth, the NPP will continue to discharge its parliamentary oversight duties without fear or favor until transparency and the rule of law prevail.

Concluding his mesage the Minority Leader expressed confidence in a resounding NPP victory in 2028, maintaining that the Ghanaian electorates are fed up with the unfulfilled promises and what he termed as the “failed governance” of the current NDC regime.
