Sunyani Traditional Council declares a day lockdown to mourn the the late Omanhene.
The Sunyani Traditional Council has announced that Friday 28th July 2023 would be a lockdown day for the late Omanhene for the area.
On the occasion hawkers and food vendors are prohibited not to sell on the streets of entire Sunyani”.
According to reports anyone who would be found in the act of violating the directives would be made to face the law.
The reports clarified that, civil servants, health workers, security agencies, restaurant operators, mobile money vendors are excluded from the restrictions.
All residents within the traditional council, the directives went on would be requested to be in mourning costume (RED or Black,Kuntunkunu, kobine Ene bresie) when going out for their various places.
