We Will Be Massively Defeated In The 2024 Elections If Delegates Fail To Give Mandate To Kennedy Agyepong To Lead The Party – Supporters of Npp.
Commenting on the future of the New Patriotic Party with regards to the 2024 general elections, cross section of the party’s sympathizers noted that y chances of winning the next elections by the party are slim if Kennedy Agyepong is not given the mandate to lead the party.
We are in a crucial electoral period and that the NPP need a leader who is fearless and transparent like Kennedy Agyepong to apply his leadership quality to help break the 8 for the party.
Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is such leader among the candidates contesting in the November 4 presidential hopeful race of the party, they pointed out.
Kofi Agyeman an activist of the Bantama Constituency branch of the Npp observed that breaking the 8 comes with huge task and it will not be achievable with chicken-hearted leaders unless the rightful candidate is chosen.
Agyeman assigned his reason to the fact though all the candidates who are contesting in the race are matured it doesn’t mean they can win power for the party in 2024 when chosen.
Stressing that the grassroots are the engine of the party and their concerns and views are the reason for the party’s victory and must be head but they have been neglected and Kennedy Agyapong is their hope.
John Parker of the Kwadaso Constituency noted that the party is beating about the bush and forget any victory in the 2024 elections if Kennedy Agyepong is not elected to lead the party.
Parker decried about the attitudes where some party executives have been showing their open support for particular candidates, insisting that the actions show clearly that the executives are pushing the Npp into opposition.
In times like this, the party should have considered the wider perspective of whom the majority of the grassroots want to lead them, but the some top gurus of the Npp have taken an entrenched position causing mayhem among candidates which is very dangerous to the party, another comments made by a staunch supporter Ama Serwa of the Npp at the Oforikrom Constituency.
Ama Serwa however took the opportunity to entreat the rank and file of the party especially the grassroots to see the need why Hon.Kennedy Ohene Agyapong deserves to lead the party in 2024 and vote massively for him come Novermver 4, 2023.
