Information reaches this powerful trending portal from Koforidua in the Eastern Region indicates that an Accra based Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Give To Life Charity Organization fed over 250 streets children and hawkers in Koforidua.
The gesture took place in last year December, and it forms part of the organization’s policies that aimed at feeding and entertaining the less fortunate during Christmas period annually.
According to the Correspondent the organization was able to accomplish the agenda following a systematic measures that the management put in place to enhance their program.
Items distributed to the needy include food stuff, clothing, drinks, cash, men and women wear among others.
The Public Relations Officer of the outfit, Madam Helena Kankam told the reporter that the personnel from the organization went rounds from stores and market places in Koforidua to solicit for the items.
After which they distributed them to the needy as their Christmas gifts so that they would feel at home.
“We distributed the goods from the Koforidua Commercial Bank, Obaa Yaa Shop, Taxi rank, All Nation, Freedom stores, and finally at the Koforidua main market complex” Madam Helena Kankam told the correspondent.
