10 year old girl fell into pit lathrine dead at Komfourkrom.
A young girl of about ten years has met her untimely death on the night of October 17, 2023 at Komfourkrom suburb of Brekum in the Berekum East Municipality in the Bono Region.
Narrating the ordeal, a family spokesperson Mr. Godfrey indicated that the victim was sent to buy something from the town but could not reached home as expected.
This he said, heightened the the suspicion of family members to go out only to be informed that someone had been trapped death into the outmooded local toilet in the town.
Based on the information the townsfolk rushed to the scene with the intention to rescue her but luck eluded them when at the scene, realized that the helpless girl had . given up her ghost.
Her remains has since been deposited at the Morgue of the Berekum Holy Family Hospital pending investigations and burial.
