We Are Hurt By Kennedy Agyapong’s Insults And Disrespectful Attitudes In The Party – Chairman.
The Bunkpurugu Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Elisha Thomas Naan has revealed that flagbearer aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong disrespected them in his utterances during his recent visit to the area.
According to him, though they are hurt, they had to maintain their calm just to allow peace to prevail despite the kind of commentary the loudmouth businessman made in an attempt to woo delegates to vote for him during the November 4, Presidential primaries of the party.
Addressing party supporters in the constituency, Mr. Elisha Naan indicated that they had to pretend citing his comments of lining up lawmakers from the north and flogging them publicly as though the voters are unaware of the kind of persons they elect as leaders.
“Although there are Four(4) persons who are looking for this position, one has already come and gone.When he came here, we were not happy on how he spoke to us. We pretended and received him. Those we send to parliament we know they are capable of doing everything but when the man came here, he told that those MPs we sent to parliament since 1992 he line them up and flog them”, he bemoaned his utterances he says smacks of disrespect.
The Chairman promised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is given 100% votes on November 4, urging him not to turn his back on the area which is his own.
“We are going to ensure that you get 100% on November 4, as our big brother”, he assured.
On November 4, 2023, more than 200 thousand delegates of the NPP will elect a presidential candidate ( flagbearer) of the party for the 2024 General Elections. All polls have so far tipped Dr Bawumia to win effortlessly.
