Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Ekua Donko says Ghanaians need to support the President, Nana Akuffo Addo in his quest to complete the National Cathedral Project before his exit, as a president.
In a telephone interview with the Correspondent, the farmer-turned politician reiterated that the Cathedral Project is not evil as some Ghanaians wrongfully use to criticize.
Ekua Donko noted that anything that attached to the name of God attracts blessings, hence the good people of the country should give the president the push and encouragement to complete the project.
According to her when Nana Akuffo Addo leaves office, he will not claim or go away with the Cathedral as his personal property, but he would rather leave it, as a state property.
The leader of the GFP insisted that since the foundation of the country no president has been able to build edifice for the Lord so the attitude of Nana Akuffo Addo should be seen as a man who fears God.
Ekua Donko noted that the anti Akuffo Addo’s forces surrounding the Cathedral Project are only up for mischief and as such they must be treated with contempt.
She therefore entreated Ghanaians to embrace the project and give their full support towards its completion for the benefit of all.
