We need our roads to be fixed – Chief to Bono East Regional Minister told
Techiman Buoyem Benkumhene, Nana Ameyaw Antwi Boasiako II, has called on the Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adandu Gyan, to address the deteriorating state of their roads.
Nana made this plea as residents of Buoyem its surrounding communities as the area continue to face challenges in transportation due to the poor road conditions.
According to him, the call on the Regional Minister has become necessary after several calls on the District Assembly concerning their roads that have been ignored.
He emphasized on the importance of road infrastructure to enhance economic development and improving the quality of life for the community.
“We Nananom are very serious about the Buoyem roads because the youth are of the view that we are not doing anything about it which is not true.
He said the chiefs have taken all the necessary steps in getting our roads fixed but nothing is being done about it so we are pleading with the regional minister to do something about our road.
Nana Ameyaw Antwi Boasiako II, explained that, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan has since his appointment as the Bono East Regional Minister been performing well to benefit the region in terms of developmental projects.
But urged the Minister to prioritize infrastructure development to support the growth and prosperity of the region.
He further said that, “we will soon hold elections so they should let us know if they will take action on our roads for us or not.
This Nana said can enable them to know what to do.
That’s all I can say for now, he concluded.
