Popular Kumasi based Adventist throws big challenge to the church elders.
A member of the Seventh Day Adventist in Kumasi, Nana Mandela has stressed the need for the General Secretary and for that matter elder of the church to take a second look about the health issues in the country and introduce mobile clinics to compliment government efforts to accomplish the health delivery system across the country.
In his urgent suggestion, the mobile clinics when introduced would also contribute in no small measure for the church to win souls for Christ as Christ himself was doing during His lifetime.
We publish below Nana Mandela’s suggestion for attention.
This is a personal suggestion to our Sda elders across the country
Let us do mobile clinic in Ghana, starting from Afram plains and later expand to other areas.
We can cure and at the same time envangelise to the people.
There are so many places in Ghana without hospitals, we can subsidise the government efforts by doing this mobile clinics country-wide.
When asked a true Adventist to contribute to this noble idea majority will agree to pay at least 50 Cedis per head and our brothers and sisters worldwide too will come to our aid.
Let us help for the message to go to the hinterlands in Ghana and stop showing off in the big cities.
I don’t agree with our elders by contributing 2 billion cedis to the National Cathedral project for two reasons.
Firstly, our elders did not consult the church members before this unfortunate attempt was made.
Secondly, we worship on Saturdays which is the 7th day of the week that is God’s SABBATH, but Mobile Clinics which will help every one who need help and healing people as Christ was doing during His time are absent.
When Jesus was on earth He went to every village to heal people and preach to them the good news as well.
What are we doing as Adventist? Showing off to the government to recognise us or what?
We need to do God’s work.
Please spread this news until it reaches Pastor Ewoo and Pastor Aidoo.
