Ghanaians have been asked to be vigilant with the rate at which most of our political figures have been making promises that can’t exist in the universe.
Politicians, being parliamentary or presidential candidates, have been asked to desist from making empty promises, since Ghanaians are currently fully matureo and are not ready to take them serious.
According to Very Rev. Jubilant Boakye Danquah who is a former chaplain for the U.S Military, a retired Methodist Minister and currently a Senior Citizen, it is time our politicians should desist from such fake behaviors.
In his view, it would be much better if politicians should stop making empty promises at the expense of making promises that hold no water.
He said, nowadays Ghanaians hates to vote for politicians who make promises, due to the fact that they see their promises as empty noise making.
It’s a shame for these elderly politicians to go to the length and speak lies through their teeth because of power, forgetting that for whatever sin that one would commit, judgement awaits for the person after death, the retired clergy indicated.
