Fellow citizens of Kumbungu,
I am humbly writing to seek your full support and to encourage you, the citizens of Kumbungu to vote massively for Hon. Alhaj Professor Hamza Adam to continue the good works as your Member of Parliament as we approach the 7th December poll.
Hon. Alhaj Professor Hamza Adam is an associate professor from the Department of Agricultural Innovation Communication, Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences at University for Development Studies, Nyankpala Campus.
Hon. Alhaj Professor Hamza Adam as a politician and MP for Kumbungu has impacted some lives of which I believed the good people of Kumbungu cannot afford and must not give way to him.
Commitment to development:
EDUCATION
1. Completed the construction of a 4-unit classroom block for Gumo which started as a Self- Help project by the community— commissioned on 18/02/2021
2. First Student support of about Forty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵40,000) to tertiary students —— 18/09/2021. So far, he has spent over One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵ 120,000) supporting students at various levels of study.
3. Presentation of Mathematical Sets to over One Thousand (1000) BECE Candidates for the 2020/2021 Examination —- 08/11/2021.
4. Presentation of Four Hundred (400) Metal Dual desks to the GES for onward delivery to eleven (11) schools —- 06/12/2021
5. Renovation of a 3-unit classroom block for Yuni which was destroyed by rains and the school closed down for close to four years ——- handed over on 18/01/2022
6. Constructed, Commissioned, and Handed over a 6-unit classroom block in collaboration with Wulugu Project for Nwogu —- 28/03/2022
7. Constructed, Commissioned, and Handed over another 6-unit classroom block in Collaboration with the Wulugu Project for Dalun Simli Model school —- 24/06/2022
8. Completing an abandoned 3-unit GETFUND classroom block at Voggu Kushibo, collaborating with the WULUGU Project —- 22/10/2022.
9. Renovation of Gung Primary School — Yet to be commissioned.
10. Renovation of Tonjing Primary School — Ongoing
11. Played a major role in securing a GETFUND bus for Kumbungu Senior High School.
HEALTH
1. Renovation of Gbulung Health Centre —- 18/01/2022
2. Constructed, Commissioned, and Handed over an ultra-modern health center for the people of Namdu and its environs with funding from an NGO named Qatar Charity — 31/08/2022
3. Completion of a Maternity Ward for Tibung Health Center — Completed
4. Paid hospital bills for a significant number of people
WATER
Through his numerous development partners and from his Common Fund, Hon. Alhaj Professor Hamza Adam has constructed boreholes for about forty (40) communities under his ‘WATER FOR ALL’ Project, some of which are as follows: Zangbalun Kukuo, Gbugli, Zangbalun Afayili area, Zangbalun Palli polo, Zugu Yipelgu, Satani Nayilifong, Yitilga, Yagrafong, Aflao, Newtown, Faandu, Kpilo, Bogunaayili, Kochim, Kprim, Logshegu, Gbulung Nyoring, Kanfeihiyili, Chanzeg, Silimboma , Gumo and Zugu Dabogni
Construction of solar-powered mechanized boreholes is completed and will be handed over soon to the following communities; Nwodua, Nakpatua, Gingani Yezehi, Tindaanpagyili, and Jaajirgu
2. Provided Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵10,000) for Pipe water extension to the Nwogu Electoral area —23/05/2022
3. Support to Cheyohi with Two Thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵2,000) towards dredging their dam —11/07/2022
4. Supported towards payment of water bills of over Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 30,000) for several communities.
5. Extension of pipe water within Dalun
ELECTRICITY
1. Distributed close to Five Hundred (500) street light bulbs under the ‘OPERATION BRIGHTEN- UP EVERY CORNER (OBEC)’ to all the Electoral areas in the Kumbungu constituency and duties electricians to install those bulbs at the appropriately preferred locations of the beneficiary communities.
2. Presented Fifty (50) street light bulbs to Kumbungu Senior High School —- 08/08/2022
3. Extended electricity to Gumo JHS
4. Extended electricity to Namdu Health Center.
5. Provided monetary support to all communities benefiting the Government of Ghana’s Rural Electrification Project, under the Self-Help Electrification Project (SHEP) for feeding and other miscellaneous expenses.
6. Caused the Minister for Energy to answer questions regarding the electrification project in the Kumbungu constituency on the floor of Parliament, and subsequent follow-ups to the Min
istry for the completion of the projects.
SPORTS
1. Presented Jerseys and footballs to almost all football teams in the constituency, numbering about 50 sets of jerseys and 100 footballs.
AGRIC
1 Supported the Kumbungu District MoFa Directorate with motorbikes to award hardworking and deserving farmers during the 2021 and 2022 Farmers’ Day Celebrations.
