Npp is the only party that can solve the galamsey’ menace in the country – says Ashanti Npp communicator

King Kwadwo Abubada, one of the best Ashanti Npp Communicators has observed that the Npp led by the visionary leader Nana Akuffo Addo and the digitized Vice President, Dr. Bawumia have put measures in place to curb the menace of  illegal mining popularly known.in the local parlance as galamsey’ in the country.

Speaking to the correspondent in an exclusive telephone interview the communicator disclosed that under the then incompetent leadership of John Mahama in 2016, before he was booted out of power, a bag of cocoa was sold for 475 cedis, which compelled the cocoa farmers to sell out their farm lands to the galamseyers.

He said even with this price, the farmers have to somersault on the floor in order to get the 475 cedis.

Adding that as at now a bag of cocoa is hovering around 3000 Ghana cedis that will motivate the farmers to grow more of the cocoa trees and nothing will push them to sell out their cocoa farm to the illegal miners.

It fascinates me how the opposition NDC party wants to capitalize on this issue to cough out anything from their throat without any solutions by saying, the menace has escalated in the Npp era, King  Abubada argues.

Stressing that a story spotted on the Graphic online date, September 18th 2015, with the banner “Ghana to import water” under Mahama’s and NDC. With such publication the communicator challenges Ghanaians to make verification and judge the conduct of the Ndc on whether they can justify their actions with the galamsey’ debate in the country.

The same Mahama he reiterated has indicated that, when he is voted to power, he is going to grant amnesty to all those found culpable and prosecuted by the incumbent government Npp. How can a leader say such a thing?

He advised Ghanaians not to be deceived by the atrocities of the opposition Ndc party who has nothing better to offer Ghanaians but instead hiding behind this galamsey’ menace to score political points.

Npp he remarked is the only party that has measures to curb the galamsey menace, and indeed it is possible,
King Kwadwo Abubada concluded.
