Communication Team Member of the Ndc faces the venom of Bantama Traders who still demand apologies from John Dramani Mahama’ and party stalwarts.

Traders at the Bantama market are expressing their anger in response to a statement made by NDC’s communication team member, Dela Edem, against former President John Agyekum Kufour.

Dressed in headgears and chanting songs to portray their displeasure, the traders strongly criticized the action as inappropriate.

In a video circulating on social media, Mr. Edem was seen making disrespectful remarks about Mr. Kufuor, leading to immediate backlash from the public.

During a press conference, the traders gathered in large numbers to voice their frustrations over the situation.

Monica Owusu Boadi, one of the traders, questioned Dela Edem’s motives for making such comments.

“Dela Edem, who do you think you are? Where do you come from, and what gives you the right to speak in such a manner against a man of such stature, a former President, and a statesman who provided us with the National Health Insurance?” she exclaimed.

Despite the NDC issuing an apology for the statement, the traders are demanding that the party, led by its flagbearer, publicly offer an unreserved apology to former President John Agyekum Kuffour.

The traders noted that Mr. Kufuor did not deserve such remarks.

Grace Amoako, another aggrieved trader, expressed that Dela Edem had no justification for using disparaging language against the former president.

“He simply addressed the media to share his views on what he believes will benefit the nation. Endorsing Dr. Bawumia is a positive move because that’s his party, and he believes in what he can do for Ghana. So, what is the issue with that?” she questioned.
