Imposition Of Homosexuality Bill Is An Attempt To Subvert Ghana’s Culture – Elder Ofori
A Kumasi based renowned man of God Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr who doubles as the Head Pastor of 7th Days Pentecostal Assemblies sited at Kumasi Esereso in the Ashanti Region, has described our colonial masters efforts at imposing homosexuality on the country as a deliberate attempts to undermine the moral rights of Ghanaians as independent citizens.
The clergy said Ghana as a Sovereign state have its freedom to decide on her own, devoid of external interference on what they should do.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an exclusive interview, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr registered his disappointment about the manner in which some agents in the foreign countries wanted to introduce Ghana into the fray of homosexuality.
He noted that the advanced countries were previously known to be development partners who come to Ghana and contribute to our developmental agenda.
And asked about the reasons why such countries have suddenly diverted their original cause and pushing the country into the homosexual platform.
Elder Enoch Ofori indicated that such cultural diversion cannot yield fruit because the chunk of the population including Christians, Moslem, traditional priests among others regard homosexual and gay practices as evil.
Our traditional culture never thought us to engage in same sex marriage, the man of God hinted.
Stressing that anyone who finds it as prudent to engage in gayism can be equated to be beast who deserves punishment.
Qouting the books of Leviticus 18 verse 22-23 and Leviticus 20-13 respectively that pointed out to the laws of homosexuality in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, Elder Ofori said the practice is abominable before God and that those who practices the acts would not go scot free in the judgement day.
Quoting further from Romans chapter 1verse 22-28, the scriptures said some people think they are wiser by their knowledge and deeds, not believing that they are rather the most foolish people on earth by the way they make their utterances.
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr urged Ghanaians to trust in God and leave the advanced countries alone to go ahead with their westernization cultural practice since many of such countries don’t believe in the Bible.
They allegedly always up to pollute the black race and culture to their advantage, hence the call on Ghanaians especially the Parliament to treat with contempt the current qay bill before the Parliament for approval.
