Amidst prevailing anxieties and economic hardships in Ghana, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang, founder and leader of the Victory Zion Ministry Church in Accra, has delivered a powerful message of hope and unwavering faith.
In his monthly e-sermon, disseminated via social media channels, Senior Apostle Appiakorang addressed particularly those Christians feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, urging them to remain calm and trust in the Lord’s power to deliver them.
Drawing inspiration from Exodus 14:14, where Moses instructs the Israelites to stand firm and witness God’s salvation as they face the pursuing Egyptian army, Apostle Appiakorang emphasized the importance of stillness in the face of adversity.
He urged listeners to place their unwavering trust in Christ, declaring, “With Him, all things are possible.”
“Whatever problems you are undergoing through life,” he preached, “just trust and rely on Christ…
You have no cause to worry as June starts but trust in the Lord and see your miracles.”
Senior Apostle Appiakorang directly addressed specific challenges confronting Ghanaians. “Is there any Egyptian in your life giving you problems?” he asked, referring metaphorically to oppressive forces.
“I encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ to remain calm and see your miracles. Are you confronted with marriage, job, traveling, facing house ejection by your landlord, in debts amidst others losing hope? I prophesy in your life today to be silent because the Lord is greater than your problems.”
He reinforced the scriptural promise that those who believe and trust in the Lord’s name are conquerors, victorious, and destined for greatness. He urged Ghanaians to embrace Christ and, in doing so, experience divine intervention and breakthroughs.
Referring back to the Israelites’ liberation, he highlighted the significance of obedience and trust in leadership, mirroring the Israelites’ adherence to Moses’ instructions.
“So this June,” he stated, “if you will hear the voice of Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang and remain silent and calm, no doubt your miracles will not fail.”
The sermon culminated in a fervent prayer for God’s mercy, protection, peace, unity, and guidance for Ghana. Apostle Appiakorang expressed his fervent hope that those burdened by problems would find solace in stillness and anticipate their miracles before the ushering in of July.
His message serves as a timely reminder to Ghanaians to lean on their faith, maintain peace of mind, and believe in the power of God to overcome any obstacle.
