Remain steadfast and expect your breakthrough – Senior Apostle Appiakorang urges Ghanaians

In his monthly e-sermon, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang, founder and General Overseer of the Victory Zion Ministry (My Father’s Temple) in Accra, has delivered a soul-warming and encouraging message of hope to Ghanaians, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith and expect a divine breakthrough.

Broadcasting through the social media channels for the month of July, the revered and famous clergyman reminded believers that the word of God is more powerful than any element on earth and that those who rely on the name of Jesus Christ will never face regret.

The central theme of his message was drawn from the book of Isaiah 55:8, which reads: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways,” declares the LORD.

Expounding on this scripture, Senior Apostle Appiakorang emphasized that God’s infinite wisdom cannot be compared to anything on earth. “God is an all-knowing God who knows the present and the future,” he declared, urging Ghanaians to understand that human limitations do not apply to the Creator.

The Apostle contrasted the often-flawed nature of human thinking with the purity of God’s intentions. “You may perhaps conceive a bad agenda against someone or hatch a way to plot against a friend, but God says such a devious agenda is not in His good books,” he explained. “He always thinks positively about His creatures.”

To illustrate God’s benevolent ways, the clergy cited the example of rainfall, as a divine provision that helps crops to grow globally, producing abundant food to feed the world. This, he noted, is a clear sign of God’s positive and life-sustaining impact on mankind.

Addressing the deep struggles many face, Senior Apostle Appiakorang spoke directly to those overwhelmed by life’s challenges. “Is someone planning to poison himself out of life’s frustrations? Are you facing joblessness, marital problems, or difficulties with travel and want to end your life?” he asked. “The answer is a big ‘NO’. What you should do is to rely on and have faith in God for your help and breakthrough, because what people think is not the thought of God.”

He issued a stern warning to those considering seeking solutions from shrines or other ungodly sources in July, advising them to stop and instead trust in the name of Jesus, which holds the keys to all remedies.

“All power belongs to Him,” he affirmed.

In a moment of prayer, the Senior Apostle called for divine intervention for his listeners. “I pray for mercy upon Ghanaians in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that Ghanaians remain faithful in life and be fully oriented in their pursuit to walk with the Lord, to free them from the bondages of Satan.”

  • Concluding his powerful sermon amidst praises sung to the Lord, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiakorang committed Ghanaians into the hands of God, charging them to “imitate the ways and thoughts of God at all times” to free themselves from their struggles and secure their breakthrough.
