Clergy calls for solution -oriented prophesies as he challenges Doom-Mongering after military aircraft crush

In the wake of the tragic August 6 military aircraft crash at Sikaman, which claimed the lives of eight government officials, Very Rev. Anthony Kwarteng, founder and leader of the Christ Miracle Mission Church in Accra has expressed profound disappointment and offered deep condolences to the bereaved families.

However his sorrow quickly turned to concern as he publicly challenged the proliferation of alleged doom prophecies and unhelpful pronouncements by some Ghanaian pastors following the incident.

Rev. Kwarteng expressed particular regret over the manner in which various pastors have seized upon the tragedy and either to issue further doom-laden prophecies for Ghana or to claim retrospective foresight of the plane crash.

In a mood of palpable shock, he posed a fundamental question: What is the true duty of a pastor when God reveals a prophecy of doom concerning a nation or individuals?

His answer, he stated, is simple and rooted in biblical principles: A pastor must seek solution to the bad prophecy through God’s divine intervention.

He then critically asked, have Ghanaian pastors been able to do this?

To the man of God such pastors who appear to offer only despair without remedy could be regarded as false prophets serving their own bellies as warned against in the scripture.

The Very Rev. Kwarteng further questioned the prevalence of so many doom prophecies without solutions and asked pointedly is this how God’s prophecy works in every country?

He expressed bewilderment as to why God seemingly always fails to reveal prophecies that could develop the country to the prophets in Ghana but always doom ones.

He firmly asserted that in Divine wisdom, God never reveals issues without solution.

He issued a stern warning to pastors who out of material gains have been tarnishing the image of God.

He reminded them that judgement is there and that one will reap what he will sow.

In a powerful call to action, he charged Ghanaians to treat the latter days prophets with contempt and embrace the word of God for their survival

He further encouraged President John Dramani Mahama, his Ministers, and all Ghanaians to stand firm and believe in God.

The clergyman reminded the good people of Ghana to note that it is not the only unique country which is facing crises.

Rev Anthony Kwarteng stated that all what is happening is a true prophetic word in the Bible that in the end time crisis bound to confront nations and individuals at a high proportion.

However, he emphasized that this was the beginning of the world crisis and that the solutions only comes from prayers and embracing the word of God and not false prophesies or prophets.
