Abrense Chief Honoured For Supporting Amansie West District Assembly.
Chief of Abrense, Nana Darko Gyau III has been honoured by the Amansie West District Assembly for his continuous support towards various activities of the latter.
The District Chief Executive Hon. Nii Lartey Ollenu presented a citation to him in relation to the above at the 39th National Farmers’ Day celebration held at Abrense.
It reads: “Your continuous support towards various activities of the District Assembly and to a large extent, towards the development of Amansie West District is much appreciated.
You have been a pillar of the Amansie West District Assembly even before your ascension to the throne and you continue to do same.
It was not suprising that this 39th Farmers’ Day was brought to Abrense to honour you as a gallant supporter of the Assembly.
We say Ayekoo for your immense support”.
It emerged at the celebration that, Nana Darko Gyau III, who doubles as the Kontihene for Manso Nkwanta solely foot the bills, covering expenses on canopies, PA system, chairs among others that were secured for the farmers’ day event.
