Abronye DC alleges Kennedy Agyepong’s wealth is from blood sources as he attacks Dr Mahamoud Bawumia

The outspoken Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has launched a fresh round of blistering attacks, this time targeting presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and US-based journalist Kevin Taylor.

In a fiery outburst, Abronye accused Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong of engaging in what he described as “blood money childbirth”, though he provided no evidence to support the explosive allegation. His comments have sparked heated reactions within political and media circles, with many calling them reckless and potentially defamatory.

Turning his attention to former Vice President Bawumia, Abronye issued a stern warning, claiming he had dispatched a “warning letter” to the NPP flagbearer over what he believes are missteps that could cost the party dearly ahead of the 2028 general elections. He insisted that loyalty to the party must come before personal ambition.

The controversial party executive did not spare Kevin Taylor, the loud-mouthed political commentator based in the United States, jabbing him over his persistent attacks on government officials and NPP leadership.

Political watchers say Abronye’s latest tirade reflects the growing tensions and internal divisions within the ruling NPP as key figures trade accusations in the lead-up to future contests for power. His remarks, however, risk deepening factional cracks at a time when unity is seen as crucial for the party’s electoral fortunes.
