Akuffo Addo overwhelmed with emotions during visit to the late Daddy Lumba’s family

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has visited the residence of the late legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba to commiserate with the bereaved family.

Arriving in a solemn convoy, the former President was received by chief mourners, family heads, and a host of sympathizers gathered to honour the memory of the iconic musician.

Clad in black, Akufo-Addo was seen in a moment of quiet reflection as he paid his respects and offered his condolences.

During the visit, he signed the book of condolence opened in honour of the late musician, whose influence on Ghana’s music industry spanned decades.

He was later joined by the Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and other prominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who also visited the residence to mourn with the family.

The atmosphere was filled with deep emotion as dignitaries and fans continued to gather, reflecting the national significance of Daddy Lumba’s passing.

Former President Akufo-Addo extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, describing Daddy Lumba as a cultural icon whose legacy would live on.
