Amasaman residents bear teeth on gov’t over bad road network.
A Communication member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Daniel Kwabena Ampong has led a massive demonstration at Amasaman and it environs over the bad roads within the Municipality.
Speaking to a section of the media, Hon.Boateng underscored that Amasaman has been a gateway to Accra and it needs to be treated as such.
He intimated that Amasaman contributes a lot when it comes to elections and yet lacks development.
Hon. Ampong emphasized on Okushibeade Electoral area where he has being an Assemblymember before, ” there’s is no proper road within that electoral area”.
He said, whilst at office he put much efforts to get the area good roads but the then MP and MCE hardly responded to his efforts.
The Communication team member, finally sent a strong signal to the governing party that Amasaman has a bad road network and needs to be addressed before the people of Amasaman boycott the upcoming coming elections in December 7, 2024.
The former Assemblyman made the call after jointly staging a massive, but peaceful demonstration with the residents to register their protest against the government.
