Anti-Gay Bill: Don’t be sycophant, advise Akuffu Addo to do the right thing – clergy to Ministers of state.
An Ejisu in the Ashanti region based powerful man of God, Rev Emmanuel Kwadwo Kusi has observed that the hard truth which is the core strength of national development has eluded section of the ministers of state and number of government appointees under Akuffo Addo’s administration because they don’t have the country at heart.
Such officials, the man of God noted, have turned themselves into sycophants, forgetting that it was the good people of Ghana who gave them the mandate to occupy their their positions.
And as such they should listen to their voices at the crucial times.
Rev Emmanuel Kwadwo Kusi who is the founder/leader of the Life of Christ Power Ministry International located at Ejisu Manhyia was reacting to Akuffo Addo’s refusal to give his assent to the anti-gay bill and the backings he has been receiving from his ministers and Mps who are surrounding him at Boss Fm in Kumasi.
The clergy described as “horrible and abominable” Akuffo Addo’s refusal to give his assent to the bill, because the bill is against procreation laws.
Have you ever seen animals engaging in such act before, he queried, and charged the president to note that as servant of the people he needs to humble himself and hearken to the voices of people, else he should better resign.
Rev Kusi noted that what is happening in the country suggests that there is madness somewhere in the country so far certain people support the gay.
The outspoken pastor expressed worry that some people fear to speak the truth insisting that when he constructively critizes the Ndc the party’s stalwarts attacks and brands him as Ndc supporter.
In the same veil he said when he corrects the rulings Npp over issues that boarders on national development the party criminalizes him with various names.
But for Rev Kusi as a true man of God he is resolute and duty-bound to serve the people and his country at all times without fear or favour.
In this regard he charged Ghanaians, especially pastors to rise up and speak against policies that could set back the progress of the country, citing the anti-gay bill which he said if it is not resisted the nation would soon turn into Sodom and Gomorrah.
