On December 6, 2024, a powerful message echoed from Kumasi, Ghana, as Apostle Dr. Dirl Airl King Mashal, founder and leader of the Soldiers of Christ Prayer Group of All Churches, delivered a prophecy that resonated deeply with the nation.
His words highlighted a divine mandate for Ghana to progress rather than regress, emphasizing that God’s desire is for the country to move forward, not backward.
Apostle Mashal’s prophecy comes at a time when political discussions are rife, and calls for change are prominent among certain factions. He urged Ghanaians to remain vigilant and critical of those pushing for what he termed as mere “change” in government, describing such desires as the work of “criminals” who wish to exacerbate the country’s economic struggles.
He asserted that a change in government would not yield the prosperity and growth that many citizens hope for; instead, it would likely plunge the nation further into despair.
“The mantra should be ‘Forward ever, backward never,'” Apostle Mashal stated emphatically.
He argued that the pursuit of change, particularly in political leadership, has historically led to stagnation and disruption in Ghana’s development. Since the era of Gold Coast down to the late Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, he noted, successive governments have grappled with the desire for change, which has often resulted in economic struggles, corruption, and societal neglect.
Critiquing political leaders, Apostle Mashal pointed out that many succumb to “selfishness, pride, arrogance, and deep corruption” after gaining power, often relegating the needs of the populace to the background. This raises an essential question: Is this the kind of change that Ghanaians truly want?
He referred to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their campaign rhetoric surrounding change, challenging the validity of their claims.
According to the Apostle, God has a plan for Ghana one that does not rest in the hands of any political party but is rooted in divine providence. He advised Ghanaians to heed the “divine counseling of the forward march agenda,” casting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a vehicle capable of propelling the nation towards progress.
He urged citizens to remain focused on leaders who are committed to the vision of advancing the country rather than those who only seek to attain power for self-serving purposes.
Apostle Mashal’s message carries a dire warning for the future. He cautioned that if Ghanaians fail to embrace the ideology of “forward ever,” interpreting change as a regression, they may find themselves facing divine retribution as a consequence of their choices.
“In ten years, if Ghanaians choose poorly, God will raise up dreadful fighters against oppressive politicians in power,” he proclaimed, underlining the gravity of electoral decisions.
