A prominent Kumasi based clergyman Apostle Dr Dirl Airl King Mashal has prophesied a period of peacefull and economic breakthrough for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should he secure the nomination of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming presidential primaries.
Apostle Mashal who is the founder and leader of the Soldiers of Christ Prayer Group of All Church expressed strong conviction that should delegates endorse Bawumia, he is destined to lead the party to victory in the 20218 general elections and steer Ghana towards its aspirations with unity and prosperity.
Apostle King Mashal made these pronouncements in response to what he described as an alleged public notion that suggest that Bawumia, as a Muslim would face rejection from Ghanaians in his presidential bid.
This supposed narrative, according to the clergyman, claims his presidency would attract terrorists to disrupt the nation’s peace
Dismissing these assertions as fallacy and non existence, Apostle Mashal labelled them as shady gambles orchestrated by certain false prophets to gain cheap popularity.
He adamantly insisted that his pronouncements were not an endorsement of any political party or candidate, but rather a declaration of plain truth.
Study Bawumia well before you attack him,” Apostle Mashal urged questioning the logic behind the terrorism claims.
He pointedly asked that If this were true, why did he fail to use the so called terrorists to retain power in the 2024 elections?
As a Christian Apostle, King Mashal emphasized his recognition of Muslims as peaceful and principled individuals.
He highlighted the existing cordial atmosphere between Christians and Muslims in Ghana, asserting that it is only a dangerous person who would wrongfully accuse any religious body in the country as being anti peace.
The clergyman further elaborated on Ghana’s long standing commitment to peace noting its consistent pursuit since the regimes of the late Jerry John Rawlings and the late John Atta Mills.
Our peace prayers are still ongoing, Dr. Mashal indicated, adding that these prayers have been intensified globally.
In a direct advisory to pastors across Ghana Apostle Dr King Mashal implored them to focus on praying for peace rather than issuing predictions of doom.
He reiterated his core message: If Bawumia gets the opportunity to become the next president economic breakthrough, joy, and unity would become the portion of the country whilst peace shall also flow within all the corners of the country to experience the power of God.
