Assemblyman Appeals To Mp To Help Solve Water Problems Confronting His Electoral Area.
The Assemblyman for Tano Kwaem Electoral Area in the Offinso North District of Ashanti Region, Hon Ibrahim Abdulai has passionately appealed to the Member of Parliament for the Offinso North Constituency of the Npp Hon Collins Augustine Ntim to come to his aid and solve the water challenges that have been confronting his Electoral Area.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an interview, Hon Abdulai disclosed that his electoral area lacks development though he has made several efforts to ensure that the district Assembly solves part of them but to no avail.
He mentioned toilet, health, roads and educational facilities as some of the major obstacles confronting his administration.
Commenting on power supply he praised and thanked Hon Collins Augustine Ntim the Mp for the area of whose influence the electoral area was connected with the national grid.
Hon Abdulai added that through the gesture of Hon Collins Augustine Ntim who influenced for the area’s power supply, living standards of the people have been improving.
According to him the electoral area have one Chip Compound (clinic) but the problem confronting the facility is water.
He stressed that the water challenges have been making the work of the nurses difficult, since at times pregnant women on labor have to provide their own water before service.
My people have been worrying me about this issue but my efforts are met with opposition, hence my humble appeal to the Mp for support since I believe that he is in position to solve the issue.
Asked to comment about the role of the District Assembly Hon Ibrahim related that assurances have been given to him, as he believes that the solutions of his problems would take long time.
Our District Chief Executive has passed on recently making the Assembly’s meeting to become standstill, another issue which has prompted me to call on the Mp for help, the Assemblyman told the Correspondent.
He also accordingly appealed to other NGO’s , philanthropists and institutions to come to his aid to enable him solve the challenges confronting his Electoral Area.
