Assiedu Nketia and the Ndc jeopardy to Ghana’s pacifism.

Irrefutably, peace – making is the springboard for a boundless development of every country. It becomes vibrantly effectual through unanimity and adhesion – the basis of why, we are being inculcated with the ethics of esprit de corps. Peace – making gives us the enzymes to bundle into unabating economic development. It’s crystal clear that, a country/nation which is alien to amity shall be fouled up with a blinding mishanters, which could buffet the Risorgimento of their economy. I am not giving apocalyptic proportion of that country , but when we spar, based on solipsism, then that shall be the forerunner. It is the foundation of why the war – zone countries are still teetering to get into the vertex of high – yielding economy. For a couple of days now, the only gen, pootling on our partisan political spectacle are the shapes given by the NDC Party under the behest of their crepehanger Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah before subscribing to the election 2024 peace pact. I have gone through them thoroughly, they weren’t anything than a frail wheeze. In fact, it was aimed at making the Ghanaians fall hook, line and sinker for their trounce of this year’s election.

He adumbrated among other stuffs, the prosecutions of those who committed murders in the 2020 election and also, his imputation that, some individuals print illegal ballot papers. Don’t be a chump, for an evidence based expostulation ;
I) The President doesn’t apprehend perpetrators, what he does is to festinate the structural functioning of the Judicial System.

II) The Judicial System is an autonomous body, due to how we appreciate the principle of ‘ Separation of Powers ‘ where the three major arms of Government are entreated to operate unrestrictedly and as a result can’t be inveigled.

III) Every citizen has the legal muscle to report any criminal case to court, police station etc provided that person possesses a material evidence.
Asiedu Nketiah has a disease and his lurgy is to equip himself with the relevant legal and constitutional regulations. He is a sheer ignoramus and thus, has stationed him to public scoffing. Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, did you pinch those who induced violence in the 2012 election after your party won and even recently, how many miscreants have you nailed after that sadism betided at your party’s office at Odododiodio in October 2023 ? Ghanaians are pooped of your toadying attitudes. For urgency sake, you can write to the Judicial System to effect these by yourself than to inculpate the president indirectly.

Also, he said the president should make a public declaration to accept the will of the people in the 2024 election. This is the most cretinous condition he highlighted. Is the president the EC Chairperson to do this ? Is the EC Office an exact locus in the presidency ? The president hasn’t made any pronouncement anywhere not to embosom the sequels of this election. His diablerie and devilry way to blunt the goodwill of the president is inanely flippant. Actually, in June 2024, Nana Akufo Addo uttered that, ” And we are going to do everything possible to make sure that the elections on the 7th of December are free, fair and credible. We do not subscribe to the view that a group of people can manipulate the will of the people and impose a leader on them.” In July 2024, when the president met the Chiefs and the people of Elmina for the rituals to officially commence the ‘ Bakatue ‘ festival, Nana Akufo Addo accented that, ” We are going to elect a leader; we are not going for war. I want them to understand that my government will not allow any nation wrecker to plunge this country into a state of war and anarchy because of the election”.

“The election will be transparent and fair such that the verdict will be accepted by all, regardless of who wins or loses,” he belabored.
Was Asiedu Nketiah in coma when these statements were punctuated by the president ? I think, probably, he has been crippled by amnesia. And even come to think of this, weren’t the same NDC kingpins, who filed petition to the Supreme Court after the EC had professed the 2020 election results that, there were inequities in it and therefore, the court must rectify them ? Was that modus operandi not an act, meant to challenge the will of the people ? His slothful manner to canvass support among the electorates is obnoxious and malarkey.

In the matter of the signing of the LGBTQ+ bill by the president, there has been a court curtailment on the bill. We know that, a bill that is not yet a law has no legal effect on anything and therefore will not be ruled on by the Supreme Court or any other Court. The big question is, was the summon by Richard Dela – Sky about the bill entirely ? The Supreme Court knows its legal jurisdictions and for that matter, wouldn’t act to pervert it wittingly. The Justices of the Supreme Court are enlightened with the nitty – gritty of their ordinances and as such, may work to a fare – thee – well. Richard Dela – Sky subpoenaed the legitimacy of the formalization of the bill and not merely, the context of the bill, such that, he believes the aggregate of Parliamentarians, who were supposed to had countersigned the bill wasn’t up to the standard, hence must be initiated again. This is why the clerk, who is assigned to certify Bills passed by the House prior to assent by the president in accordance with the Interpretations Act, 2009 (Act 792) was humming and hawing to do that constitutional onus. At this point, the president cannot append his signature to the bill, when the requisite processes haven’t been satisfied and also in the case, where it is in the custody of the apex court, the Supreme Court.

Additionally, you urged the president to execute the full recommendations of the Ayawaso Commission. Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, there have been two objectionable incidences, which blotted the prominence of the Country provincially and globally and expectedly, they were contrived when your party was in power and thus, the Alfred Agbesi Woyome’s scandal and the fiasco of Brazil. When your flagbearer, John Mahama set up the ‘ Justice Dzamefe Commission of Enquiry ‘ in order to find the mainspring of that debacle, where exhortations were submitted to your flagbearer by Justice Dzamefe and his team, did he operationize any of them ? You continue to talk haphazardly, because you have the penchant to do it : gauge your convictions before you circulate them.

Lastly, the Electoral Commission through a swift reaction by Mr. Samuel Tettey on 20th March, 2024 refuted the claim made by the Minority Leader in Parliament, Dr. Cassiel Forson that, seven of their Biometric Verification Devices had been missing, instead only five of their laptops and those missing laptops don’t have any sensitive information on them. With regard to such sweeping negation, how does Mr. Asiedu Nketiah want the EC to clear of his scruple? It is a barrel of laughs about how Asiedu Nketiah and his NDC desire to slay Ghanaians through their machiavellianism.

Ghana is known to be a soothing country at every nook and cranny. If he has the resolve to engender rumbles and frenziness amidst this election – the reason he has helicoptered out his family to USA, then he is deriding his own proposition. Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP shall promote sanity and shindy – free in the upcoming election : we won’t be pococurante to any bellicose scheme he has hypothesized in any case, since he has branded himself as a vicious man. What we anticipate of Asiedu Nketiah, is to supervise his party to verbalize meaty and stately policies, which may be a bed of roses for the youths than to whinge by using his tawdry slyness.
