He stresses that Bawumia’s win should serve as a wake up call for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to foster unity and peace as they gear up for the 2028 general elections.

Furthermore Reverend Odei Appiah urged Ghanaians particularly the NPP faithful to extend forgiveness to the doom prophets who predicted Bawumia’s defeat

Dr. Bawumia’s victory is not merely a relief for the party, it is also a triumph for the entire citizenry of Ghana Reverend Odei Appiah stated in an interview with the Correspondent.

He highlighted the peaceful conclusion of the internal elections contrasting it with earlier predictions of electoral confusion and division among aspirants and their supporters.

This peaceful transition he emphasized, is the very essence of democratic progress.

With a party flagbearer now elected Reverend Odei Appiah indicated that unity and reconciliation must be the paramount focus for every NPP member.

This effort he believes, is essential to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

He encouraged the defeated aspirants to remain steadfast and rally behind Dr. Bawumia and recognize that his victory is a collective one since in any race only one person can emerge victorious.

While losing an election is undoubtedly painful, Rev Daniel Odei-Appiah said the NPP was founded on the principle of unity and hoped that all party members would come on board to support Dr. Bawumia and ensure his victory in the next election.

Reverend Odei Appiah expressed his strong optimism by stating that in the coming months the Npp would witness an unprecedented unity, reconciliation and peace that would push them into the electoral victory in the 2028 general elections.

The 2028 elections he said tipped to be crucial Rev Daniel Odei-Appiah charged party leaders to highlight the flaws and economic mismanagement in the ruling government for Ghananians to become abreast about what is going on in the country when they mount political campaigns to canvass for votes.

Turning his attention to the contentious issue of doomsday prophets who predicted Dr. Bawumia’s defeat and even staked their churches on the outcome of the elections, Reverend Odei Appiah pleaded for forgiveness.

He acknowledged that false prophets have been a recurring phenomenon throughout history of creation with prophecies originating from diverse sources such as Divine, demonic, or simply fabricated by the prophets themselves.

He expounded on the distinct characteristics and ultimate outcomes of both genuine and false prophecies, observing how current events in the country serve as a testament to these differences.

Therefore all what we can do is to forgive them their sins and allow them to judge themselves based on whether their prophecies truly came from God.

Reverend Odei Appiah concluded by referencing the resounding landslide victory that has positioned the former Vice President to lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections. The message is clear: unity and a spirit of forgiveness are vital as the NPP embarks on its journey towards another electoral triumph.
