Beware of false prophets who manipulate people to enrich themselves

Beware of false prophets who manipulate people to enrich themselves – Pastor to Ghanaians.

The Head pastor of the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies cited at Kumasi Esresso in the Ashanti Region, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr has stressed the need for Ghanaians to shun pastors who suspiciously exercise harmful influence on others to amass wealth under the cover of the Holy scriptures.

Reacting to the social media reports about the proliferations of prophecies of death and electoral violences by some latter days pastors in the country, Elder Ofori Jnr cautioned against such blindly accepting all prophesies

He stressed the need for Ghanaians to critically scrutinize the genuineness of the pastors who make the predictions because not all those preaching the word have the true call from God

The clergy conceded that prophecy though exists in the scriptures, some pastors tend to fake the true prophesies, use false means to manipulate or put fear into people and rob them.

He said in the Bible there are prophets who intercede for people for God’s reversal of their negative future, while some prophets also see visions on people and events that would happen, either on positive or negative terms and work on them for divine interventions.

Yet such genuine pastors don’t make public noise nor put fear into people or demand items for directions before they save blucthe victims.

He cited the dreams of King Pharaoh in the Bible where the Prophet Daniel prophesied that King Pharaoh’s negative and positive dreams he (the King) had represents seven years hunger and seven years of prosperity ahead of the King’s reign that surely came to pass, but Daniel never put fear in the King nor went public to scare him.

Isaiah he said, also prophesied

about the sudden death of King Ezekiel, yet he approached and drawn Ezekiel’s attention to what it would happen to him without making public pronouncement.

Insisting that out of Ezekiel’s faith, he prayed to God who reversed the negative death prophecy and added fifteen more years to Ezekiel’s life.

Therefore as pastors we need to avoid threatening prophecies , instead we should approach the people whom we got prophecies on them and come out with the solution from God to reverse that negative prophecy.

Elder Ofori Jnr stated without any reservation that it is only those stomach and false prophets who would use prophecy to create fear and panic in people at the public scenes without first all seeking the power of God to get rid of that negative prophecy to save a soul.

According to the man of God those death and abominable prophecy pastors are just in for material gains as condemnations and curses are their portions in the hell fire.

He advised Ghanaians to run for thier lives when such pastors come into their lives as quoted in 2 Peter 2 verse 3.

The chapter, Elder Ofori stated thus, And through covetousness, shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you; whose judgement now of a lon time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not , to conclude his argument.
