As the political landscape in Ghana heats up ahead of the upcoming elections, the Bono East regional chairman of the the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Onasco Owusu, has expressed unwavering confidence in the party’s ability to sweep all parliamentary seats in the area.
Known for his fervent support for the NDC and its policies, Owusu forecasts a monumental victory that he believes will astonish many Ghanaians.
Speaking in an exclusive telephone interview, Chairman Owusu stated that the NDC’s triumph is imminent, urging supporters not to become complacent. “Our victory is real, but we must not rest until our flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama, is declared the winner and officially sworn in as president
It is crucial that we maintain our momentum and dedication to campaigning actively,” he emphasized.
Owusu laid out his reasons for optimism, asserting that the NDC’s policies resonate deeply with the electorate. He pointed to the party’s initiatives aimed at alleviating the economic challenges faced by citizens, describing these policies as transformative solutions that have won the hearts of many Ghanaians. “Most people agree that our policies are the best path forward for the nation, and this gives us confidence in our campaign,” he said.
In his call for commitment and hard work, the regional Chairman Owusu outlined his ambitious goal of capturing all eleven parliamentary seats within all the Constituencies in the Bono East region.
Currently, the NDC holds nine of these seats, and Owusu is determined to leverage effective campaigning and strong community engagement like ” door to door strategy to secure the remaining positions. “If we work diligently and spread positive campaign messages throughout our Constituencies ,I believe we can achieve this goal,” he remarked.
