Aboboyaa driver in a firm grip of the police for attempting to to sell daughter, 2.
Th police at Kyebi Amanfrom from in the Abuakwa South Municipality in the Eastern region have arrested a 35 year old Aboboyaa driver, popularly known as T.T for allegedly attempting to sell her 2 year old daughter because of poverty.
T.T is currently helping the police in their probe whilst the the daughter has since been handed over to the mother.
According to our correspondent the driver T.T is married to one Emmanuella Apeasah who live together at Akyim Kyebi Potroase in the Eastern region.
Information reaches this website have it that since the marriage, the wife Emmanuella Apeasah has seen no peace as the husband usually turns her into a punch bag at least offence.
The. driver was alleged to have linked his bad conduct to financial challenges and to get rid of his problems, he planned to sell her daughter to enrich himself.
To realize his agenda T.T was said to have confided in a friend of his wicked intentions to sell the 2 year old daughter Patricia Tetteh, a report the friend leaked out to Emmanuella Apeasah.
On Saturday August 5 2023, the Aboboyaa driver took the opportunity to advance his plans into reality, and allegedly managed to whisk away the innocent child to a neighborhood town and kept her into the custody of a trader who operates in Accra.
Having succeeded in his first agenda T.T allegedly returned home to pack away the daughter’s belongings, but luck eluded him when the wife who was searching for the daughter upon a tip off about what the husband had hatched blown an alarm leading to the arrest of the driver.
It was here where the driver led the police to the nearby village where the daughter was found in the custody of the trader who told the police that he knows T.T as his driver who always conveys her goods to Accra for fee.
Stressing that she don’t suspected the evil agenda hatched by the driver against her daughter and consequently handed the innocent child back to the authorities.
This is the second time the driver has made an attempt to sell the daughter, Apeasah Emmanuella’ father Mr Apeasah told the correspondent.
