Breaking news : Man Allegedly Beheads His 60- Year-Old Landlord At Bia West District.
A man believed to be in his late forties is alleged to have beheaded his landlord at Yaw Anane, a farming community in the Bia West District of the Western North Region on Monday morning.
Confirming the sad incident to the correspondent, the Assemblyman for Nafana Electoral Area, Hon Augustine Bediako said the victim and suspect are both farmers.
The victim Kwasi Antoh, 60, is landlord said to have disposed one of his rooms to the suspect on rental basis besides working on the same land to earn their living.
According to the Assemblyman, the deceased Kwesi Antoh on the fateful day visited his farm and realized that a portion of of weeds that was entrusted into the care of the suspect to weed had not cleared.
The situation it was said infuriated the farmer who returned to the house and questioned the suspect about the reason why he has allowed the bush to overtake his crops.
Already having some scores with his landlord on the reasons that the deceased was allegedly chasing his (suspect ) 19 year old daughter, Yaw Watoro got annoyed about the question the deceased asked him and planned for mischief.
To put his hidden agenda into reality, Yaw Wotoro, the suspect took a cutlass and allegedly slashed the neck of his landlord at the back of his house and ran away.
Reports however said, the residents of the community mounted a search party where the suspect was apprehended.
