C/R: Ultra-modern District Court commissioned at Twifo Hemang.

 

The Chief Justice Mrs Gertrude Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo has commissioned an ultra-modern District Court at Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency in the central Region as part of the judicial reforms to promote effective free and fair justice delivery.

 

The New Hemang district court has a well-furnished courtroom, Computers for Direct Transmitter Services (DTS), Solar power, a standby generator, electric fencing to boost security, washrooms for males and females, an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Office, Registrar’s Office and Docket rooms.

 

On behalf of the Chief Justice of the Republic, Gertrude Araba Sackey Torkornoo,

His Lordship Justice Jerome Noble Nkrumah empathize on the significance step forward and the mission to ensure that every individual regardless of his or her location or circumstance has an access to a fair and just legal system

 

Speaking to the media Honourable Nana Kwaku Abban DCE for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District said the commissioning was also in fulfillment of the vision to bring justice to the doorsteps of the people specifically serving the people of the district and its environs.

 

He appealed to the people of Ghana to support the NPP government for undertaken several developmental projects throughout the country to enable them break the ‘8 agenda’

 

The DCE further urged the citizens to live their lives cautiously in order not to become subjects for trial by the court, adding that the building could bring good fortune to them depending on the way they lived and the court will serve justice to the District.
