Caution to saboteurs: A call for unity and support for Ghana’s development.

By King Amoah.

In a fervent address reflecting on the state of Ghana’s political landscape, renowned senior citizen Mr. Owusu Gyamfi from Kumasi in the Ashanti region has issued a stern warning to those who oppose the nation’s progress.

His remarks, made during an exclusive interview, underscore a growing concern about the role of certain individuals in society who, driven by jealousy and hatred, actively undermine the developmental efforts of the current government.

Mr. Gyamfi emphasized the necessity of unity among Ghanaians, urging citizens to reject unconstitutional behaviors that stifle the country’s growth. He indicated a troubling trend: individuals who criticize the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its initiatives while simultaneously supporting those who have historically undermined the country’s prosperity.

“We have certain people in our society,” Gyamfi noted, “who out of sheer hatred and jealousy have been speaking against whatever steps the NDC takes to move the country forward.”

This passionate discourse reflects a broader sentiment among some supporters of the NDC, particularly regarding the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama. Mr. Gyamfi expressed a firm belief that Mahama’s presidency is divinely ordained, suggesting that the challenges faced by his administration are part of a larger spiritual battle. “God will punish these people for supporting the wrong side of the economy,” he asserted, invoking a sense of divine justice for those he perceives as acting against the nation’s best interests.

In a tone laced with urgency, Gyamfi urged citizens to reflect on the recent election results, framing them as evidence of divine favor upon President Mahama. He articulated a vision of hope, suggesting that no matter the adversities faced, Mahama will prevail with God’s guidance.

“As a God-chosen president, those who plan against him will end up in shame,” he declared, reinforcing the idea that divine providence is at play in Ghana’s governance.

The underlying message of Mr. Gyamfi’s comments is a call for solidarity among Ghanaians, imploring all citizens to put aside personal grievances and work collectively towards a prosperous future. He charged President Mahama to remain steadfast and resolute in his leadership, reassuring him that he has divine support amid the challenges he faces.
