The General Overseer of the Christ Power Miracle Mission Church located at Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region, Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng has stressed the need for the authorities of the country to stay focused and comes out with measures that could bail the country out from its current crisis.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview on telephone from his Accra office, the clergy expressed deep worry about the situation where the country finds itself, especially on the areas of unemployment, high cost of living, health, education, water, power, among other social challenges in the society.
The man of God observed that as leaders of the country, our focus needs to be or should be directed on the welfare of the citizens and even beyond so that the future generation could come and take life easy.
Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng was not happy that many Ghanaians, particularly the youth are living in a misery condition thus making them to engage in antisocial vices to the contrary of decent living.
The prophet spoke against the practice of bribery and corruptions in the high places, warning that since man will repeat what he sows, our leaders should bear in mind that judgement awaits for sinners after death.
Believe me that it is an offence for a leader who squanders state funds just because he has the power to steal Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng pointed out.
On the face of the current economic hardships, Very Rev Prophet Anthony Kwarteng urged Ghanaians to renew their faith and trust in the Lord the rock of ages what have answers to every problem.
Don’t copy the attitudes of corrupt leaders the clergy advised, for sin kills those who commits sins.
He also admonished Ghanaians to pray for the leaders so that God would grant them wisdom to rule the country for the benefit of all.
