Changes in the Npp: Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s allies threatened to quit from Npp.
Available information trickling this website from Kumasi in the Ashanti region, indicates that there’s a bombshell in the Suame Constituency of the Npp following the resignation of Osei Kyei Mensah who doubles as the Mp for the Constituency.
His resignation from his post as a Majority leader of Parliament in the Npp ticket is seen as untimely by by some party sympathizers who believe, can have a negative impact on the Npp with regards to the December 7 general elections.
Reacting to the issue, whilst some known followers of the Mp see Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s attempt as a result of pressure or frustrations that was masterminded by some party stalwarts, others say it may be perhaps, out of tension from the Npp parliamentarians who oppose to his long service in both the party and legislative home.
The sympathizers alleged that Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu is a star in the Npp having contributed to the progress of both country, yet his contributions seems not to be felt by some people in the party.
They cited how some party stalwarts openly worked against the Mce for Suame, Mr Maxwell to loose elections in the Npp’s parliamentary primaries just because the Mce affiliates Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
If they hate our man, we are also ready to advise ourselves in the Suame Constituency, a supporter, snarled and wondered how at this critical elections period someone of Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s caliber would resigned from his post as the Majority leader of Parliament in the ticket of the Npp.
Some of us are also considering to resign from the party in the alleged rough deals in the party continue to escalate, party sources hinted.
Suame Constituency is predictably heading towards doom, because we are tempted to believe that Kyei Mensah Bonsu is not being treated well,, another party goon pointed out.
