Chief Executive Officer of Solid 103.7 FM celebrates his 61st birthday with pomp.
The conference hall of the Treasureland Hotel at Kumasi Ayiga near Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the Ashanti region was filled to capacity on Saturday 15, 2023 amidst pomp at the occasion that witnessed the 61st birthday of a renowned Kumasi based business tycoon, Bishop Dr.Nana James Akwasi Oppong (aka Jakwapo) who is the Chief Executive Officer of Solid 103.7 FM in Kumasi.
Marked with the cutting of cake, music and dancing in addition to the service of all kinds of meals and drinks, the occasion also attracted high profile personalities like politicians, traditional rulers, security personnel, business executives, men of the inky fraternity (journalists) and people from all walk of life.
At the occasion goodwill messages and testimonies were shared among the participants in honor of Bishop James Akwasi Oppong for the role that he played to transform the society, especially on the areas of job creation.
In his brief address. Bishop Dr Nana James Akwasi Oppong a man described as ” of many parts” told his sympathizers that at age 61, this is his time of celebrating his birthday.
This is because he sees himself as a new born person tasked with the responsibilities by God to do more to transform the society through the scriptures.
At 61, God have a special task for me to undertake, adding that it is a task which focused on goodness, kindness, and efforts to win souls for Master Jesus.
I don’t understand why wickedness, hatred, corruption, crime among others tend to have taken dominance in the society and thus pushing the sons and daughters of God into the hell fire.
And in my quest to help curb these criminal activities in the society hence l have been directed by God to use the rest my life to crusade against evil things.
For the records, Bishop Dr Nana James Akwasi Oppong (aka Jakwapo) is also the Managing Director of Treasureland Hotel, owns multi purpose farm complex, Chief Executive Officer of Jakwapo Group of Company, a Chief and founder and leader of the Rising People’s Party ( RPP) headquartered in Kumasi.
He is also the founder and leader of the Lord’s Fireworks Chapel International and Oppong Rising Chapel International in Kumasi respectively.
Through his humility and dedication to duty he has won several international awards to his credit.
