Dagomba Chief Of Shai Osuduku Advises Muslim Men To Stop Harassing Their Wives.
In his quest to ensure that married Muslim women and their children in the country live in absolute peace and freedom, the chief of the Shai Osuduku in the Greater Accra region, Alhaji Alhassan Latif Lugsana has sounded a word of advise to the Muslim men to desist from the acts.of abusing their wives and children.
In an interview with the website, the Dagomba Chief stated that hundreds of Muslim women and children are mostly affected by the act of abuses in their marriages in the country .
The chief however justified his claim, according to the police reports he allegedly got from the Shai Osudoku District of the Police Administration.
Alhaji Alhassan Latif Lugsana Dagomba has on this note, called on all the Muslim men, no matter how their financial status, to avoid treating their wives and children in an abusive ways to help maintain peace and order in their homes.
The Shai Osuduku Dagomba Chief Alhaji Alhassan Latif Lugsana further spoke against the acts where Muslim young girls are forced into marriage, and called on the Muslim parents to end the practice.
He admonished that, the Muslim community needs to embrace and respect each others view to foster inclusiveness and acceptability in the society.
Alhaji Alhassan Latif Lugsana urged the youth to desist from tarnishing the image of the Islamic religion by their alleged conduct of acting negatively and violently in the society.
Winding up, he called on the benevolent individuals and organisations to come on board and help fix some of the infrastructures and other challenges that have been confronting the Muslims in the Shai Osuduku community and its environs.
