Denasehene embraces National Policy Concept.
The chief of Denanse a town along the Kumasi Offinso road in Ashanti region, Nana Atonsa Yiadom II has commended government over its intentions to introduce the National policy Concept as announced recently.
According to the chief who also doubles as the Asantenhene’s Atenehene, if the policy is implemented the country’s economy would be normalized to enhance the freedom of Ghanaians.
Nana Yiadom in an interview, observed that since the country attained independence in 1957, Ghanaians have undergone through lot of challenges as a result of economic instability coupled with bad policies from the various governments whom the country is entrusted into their care.
Nana Atonsa Yiadom II described National Policy concept as an all inclusive system which gives the legislators the full mandate to prevail on the government to apply a single law to manage the economy without taking into consideration, political parties manifestos or policies to rule like what the country is experiencing today.
Asantenhene’s Atenehene noted that if the National Policy concept is in now in force, the destructions of our water bodies, forest reserves, among other environmental challenges in the country would be discouraged because the laws can bite and deal strictly against the offenders.
“Ghana would be ushered into a planet of joy and happiness if the concept takes off it will change number of monstrous practices in the country like protocols in job offers, transparency in documents processing, curbing of crime wave including bribery and corruptions among others”. the chief hinted.
Nana Atonsa Yiadom II hoped that the traditional rulers would add their voices in this later days news and encourage government to speed up the process to ensure that the concept becomes reality for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
