Denounce The Passage Of LGBTQ+ Bill Because It’s A Strange Culture Practice To Ghanaians – Chief Of Kokofu Adwumaim.
The chief Kokofu Adwumam in the Ashanti region, Nana Agyekum Diawuo has stressed the need for Ghanaians to join forces with the parliamentarians to kick against the passage of the LGBTQ+ bill describing it as an ugly and monstrous policy which the advanced countries wanted to impose on Ghanaians, reports King Amoah, our Ashanti regional chief correspondent.
In an interview with the correspondent on Saturday December 30th 2023 at the occasion marking the Association of 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies Annual Camp meeting at Feyiase, a town along the Kumasi – Kuntanase road in the Ashanti region, Nana Agyekum Diawuo observed that thepractice of homosexuality is a foreign culture, which is unknown to Ghanaians since the foundation of the Nation.
He said in creation God in His wisdom çreated man and woman as partners to live together and produce children as part of His plans to accomplish the existence of man.
The chief indicated that besides sexual relationship between man and woman alone, God never attached additional conditions on sex on whether man can have sexual affairs with fellow men, let alone a woman can marry her fellow women
Therefore the act of having equal sex with one another is something regarded it as an abomination before God.
Nana Agyekum Diawuo noted that people who believes in homosexuality and gayism can be likened to animals who have no sense of direction, because procreation laws speak against the practice of homosexuality.
Even animals hate homosexuality and how come a person created with senses and know what is good and bad, the chief pointed out.
According to him, chiefs and prophets have in time immemorial denounced homosexuality in the Ghanaian culture, therefore if today some pastors go to the extent of pulling their support for homosexuality, then society should know that there is something wrong with people as prophecied in the Bible about the era where abomination would be strife at the global scene.
In this regard, Nana Agyekum Diawuo called on Ghanaians to massively speak against the passage of the LGBTQ since the act is strange in the country’s culture practice.
