The National Peace Council cannot continue to pretend not to be aware of the 21st January 2021 Article 146 Petition for the removal of Jean Adukwei Mensa which contains all the key issues raised against the Electoral Commission in their mismanagement of the 2020 Election and the violent Ayawaso West Wuogon Bye-Election; which President Akufo Addo has refused to act on.*
President Akufo Addo breached the Constitution of Ghana in refusing to act on the Article 146 Petition for the removal of Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo as Chief Justice for two (2) and continues to breach the Constitution of Ghana with impunity by refusing to act on the Article 146 Petition for the removal of Jean Adukwei Mensa as Chairperson of the Electoral Commission for almost three (3) years…
The National Peace Council chose to join the ranks of the hypocritical OccupyGhana lawyers who claimed that the President was only a conveyor belt in such Article 146 Petition cases and had no choice but to act immediately he received an Article 146 Petition for the removal of an Electoral Commissioner or Chief Justice.
The National Peace Council and the National Security as well as the BNI are pretending not to have heard Brian Acheampong and others like Lord Commey who claim that like President Akufo Addo himself said; the NPP will not hand over power to anybody other than NPP-BAWUMIA.

President Akufo Addo talked about disinformation then his Father’s Newspaper THE STATESMAN which he handed over to Gabby Asare Ochere-Darko proceeds to peddle falsehoods about the NDC Manifesto Launch a day ahead of the event in Winneba.
The Statesman Newspaper will not be invited nor arrests effected as done recently in the case of a journalist accused of peddling false news…
