Ejisu MP’s PRO urges Npp to invest in grassroot for 2028 victory

Solomon Osei Mainoo, also known as Abi Solo, the Public Relations Officer for the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, Hon. Kwabena Boateng, is urging New Patriotic Party (NPP) Executives to prioritize investment in the party’s grassroots to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to the correspondent in exclusive interview, Abi Solo emphasized that grassroots participation is paramount to the Npp’s success.

He stated that neglecting the foundation of the party would make winning the 2028 elections a difficult task. “Without the base, there is no peak,” he declared, highlighting the critical role the grassroots play in achieving electoral success.

Abi Solo attributed the Npp’s 2024 electoral performance, in part, to a disconnect with the grassroots, which, he believes, led to diminished engagement and ultimately impacted the party’s ability to secure victory.

He stressed that this should serve as a “wake-up call” for the party’s leadership.

Looking ahead to the 2028 elections, Abi Solo believes it is crucial for the Npp to strengthen its foundation.

He emphasized the need for unity and love to be at the heart of the party’s vision, urging members to eschew divisive tendencies and factionalism that could undermine their efforts.

“As the party prepares for the next elections, members need to uplift the party’s foundation towards victory,” he said.

He further advised party faithful, particularly those at the grassroots level, to put aside their differences and embark on a new chapter focused on unseating the current administration in the 2028 elections.

“Our quest to win the election would be meaningless if we fail to unite,” Abi Solo emphasized. He also called for a system that recognizes and rewards hard work at the grassroots level to incentivize members and encourage continued dedication.

Finally, Abi Solo charged party members to avoid selfishness, greed, and pride, which he identified as detrimental factors that often erode the party’s chances of winning elections.

  • By focusing on unity, grassroots empowerment, and selfless service, he believes the Npp can pave the way for a successful campaign in 2028.
